Sunday Sermon and Thoughts

God probably does NOT have a blueprint for your life. How many sermons have you heard where THAT was the key point made in the message!? Anyone who came to ICB on Sunday not only heard that but saw how the Bible teaches us this and why it is important that we get straight about this.

Here's the sermon link.

In other news from Sunday...

(1) Had a great first day of the "getting to know ICB" group. BKK struck again though. Of the 9 participants that signed up... 2 were out of town (1 out of the country). 2 had a car whose battery was dead Sunday morning. And 1 had a power outage overnight which reset his clock. I am sure that we only get about half our congregation on any given Sunday in Bangkok... and not for cheap excuses either. This does make pastoring a challenge sometimes.

(2) Any worship service where you sing "Be Thou My Vision" is a good one! What an awesome old hymn!

(3) Enjoyed lunch after church with Betsy, Malcolm, Laura, Jake and Anna. Jake and Anna are getting so much easier to take to restaurants! It's a wonderful life :).

(4) The music in the evening just soooo wonderful. I love the atmosphere. The crowds haven't been as big lately. Not sure why. But the spirit is fantastic.

(5) Did my Burma presentation after worship in the evening. Amazed at how many people stayed. Looks like I've got to do it a third time though because 3 families that could see it - still want to.

God is doing wonderful things. And I'm so grateful for all the amazing people He brings into my life through this ministry.
