How to pursue holiness without being holier-than-thou

Here is the third and last sermon in the New Beginnings Series. It's on holiness.

(1) Share an experience where you tried and failed to improve yourself?
Read Colossians 2 and 3.
(2) Why do you think that "rules" and "regulations" can be so comforting?
(3) What do you think Paul thinks about Jewish rituals?
(4) What "rules" do you follow? Do you have any personal "rules"?
(5) When have rules been helpful? Hurtful?
(6) What are your experiences with rules-based (in contrast to grace-based) religion?
(7) Paul says that the way to holiness is through Jesus. Look to Jesus (3:1-4) How can you do that?
