Have you invited anyone to Christmas Eve Worship with you?

Christmas worship is the EASIEST invitation of the whole year.

Christians tell me all the time that they wish their (choose one: spouse, boyfriend, girlfriend, office mate, neighbor, son, daughter, cousin, uncle, auntie, arch enemy) would fall in love with Jesus. But when it comes to actually talking about Jesus with these people; most Christians I know clam up. And for good reason. Sharing one's faith is often perceived (accurately or not) as an aggressive act in our world. That's why it's imperative that Christians take advantage of Christmas. It's the one time of year when you can invite your entire network (family, friends, neighbors, co-workers) with you to church and only the most hyper-sensitive will be offended.

Why? Everyone loves Christmas. I've read blog posts from former Christians who are now atheists, Buddhists and agnostics and they all argue that you CAN continue to celebrate Christmas even if you are not Christian. Why? It's just such a wonderful holiday.

As much as I hate to see people leave the faith - I couldn't agree more with the sentiment of these posts. And the reason is that perhaps something will happen in the celebration that will spark a new flame of faith in Christ.

Please, please, PLEASE, please, please don't miss the opportunity Christmas affords. If you are in Bangkok - come to Christmas Eve Worship. The service we have at Intl Church is awesome. It's at 7pm on Thursday night.

I promise you will enjoy it. We won't do or say anything judgmental or condescending toward those who are not Christian to make you regret having brought your friends. (We make it a point never to do that!) So what are you waiting for? It's the easiest invitation of the year.
