What if God did NOT?

What if God did NOT become human? and What if God is NOT with us?

These are the sermons from the 6 December and 13 December respectively.

Sunday (13 December) was really fun on a lot of different levels.

* Church actually started on Saturday night at Devin and Viorica's house. They had 50-75 people in their home for a choir concert and Welmer (our Choir Director) brought his group Musical Language and they were great! Thanks to the host family and everyone who brought food!

* It's always great to have new members join. We welcomed Jan and Jennifer (although Jennifer was sick and at home). We welcomed Cecilia. And we are praying for her as she mourns the loss of her father and travels home today. We welcomed Roy who will inspire us once this months Newsletter is out with a great testimony. We welcomed Andrew and Sasha and Makeeda. What a beautiful baby Makeeda is! And we welcomed Nick (who wasn't able to be with us due to work).

* It was also a joy to have the Intl Church Children's Choir sing Sunday morning. They did great. And the costumes were fabulous. Directed under the capable hands of Caryn. Hopefully someone will send me photos I can post.

* Then lunch after church with friends was relaxing and the Lebanese food at Nadimos was great.

* Geared up for evening worship. Great to have Ye Htut, Yin Yin and Sunny come and share some of their life experience. Isaac stayed for much of the worship. That was great. We had Den, Beatrice, Marion and Aiko leading worship. It was good to have the fully group of singers. And a visitor named Helen jumped in and joined the group leading singing as well!

* Attendance in the evening has gone right back up since we got the poster up. Thankful to God for that. I know #s shouldn't make or break the day for me, but honestly it does affect my mood and THE mood. I'm working on growing spiritually on that one.

* Then enjoyed noodles after evening worship with Sam, Beatrice and our new friend Maye. This week I found out that Sam can play guitar and lead singing. Last night I learned that Beatrice plays drums. And we all learned that Maye can also play a little guitar and sing! Wooo. Hooo.

That's it for now. Really looking forward to next Sunday. Worship is going to be awesome - then we're going to show some kids from Elisha Children's Home around town. Then the Caroling on the River! What a great season.
