Thoughts from Sunday + the sermon text

Here's the sermon from Sunday. I'm hosting it in a different location, so let me know if there are any problems.

Here are a few highlights. Sorry this is late, I was hoping to have pictures to show but no one has uploaded their photos to Facebook yet... Hint! Hint!

1. We had a blast with Mercy House Orphanage. They brought 15 kids up from Pranburi! It's always good to see the kids and house parents.

2. We sang in Thai and English. That's a first since I've been at ICB. "This is the day" = "Wan nee bpen wan". Fun.

3. We did mess up the "after" church presentation. We announced something that didn't happen! Opps. Sorry.

4. The "Outreach/Family" Retreat was 20% sold out BEFORE we started taking signups. Yikes! By the end of the day Sunday, we were 75% sold. So if you want to go, I would suggest emailing an RSVP now. You can email me here. 23-25 October (Sat, Sun, Mon) in Pranburi at Dolphin Bay. 2100/per room (sleeps 2) per night + 500 baht per adult for the retreat. Anji and Ash Barker will help us think about our Outreach Partnerships from the partner's perspective! And we'll visit Mercy House.

5. After worship, a group of us took the kids to the zoo. Despite the fact that our guide and lead car got pulled over in a police line (:P) we all made it in good shape. Loads of fun!

6. It was great to add a vocalist on Sunday nights. God has been so good to us musically.

7. And I just had so much fun preaching in the evening. It's a great church to preach to (for both services). Lots of great facial expressions, reactions and sometimes talk back.

Grace and peace.
