Easter is coming...

I am so looking forward to this Sunday. If you are in Bangkok this weekend, ICB is the place to be.

At 9am we're going to have an Egg hunt for kids 12 and under. This is going to be a ton of fun and the kids are going to be all riled up for worship. If you are bringing a kid, come a little before 9am. ICB is providing the Eggs, candy and Easter baskets!

Then at 10am we're going to celebrate the Resurrection of Jesus in a big way. The choir (which is awesome!) has been working on some bang up music. We're going to celebrate the multicultural / multinational nature of our faith in the way only an international church can! Then I'm completely excited about the Easter Sermon. Someone put an image in my head about a month ago that I can't get out and I'm going to share it with you on Sunday.

Finally - after all that. Lots of people will bring food for an Easter International Potluck. Just bring a dish to share with a few neighbors. It would be awesome to have food from all over the world. The church provides plates, cups, and drinks.

If you are a regular attender at ICB and are reading this... please, please, please invite someone to come with you. People who never go to church, who never would go to church, are most receptive to invitations at Easter!

If you are not a regular at ICB - please, please, please, come and join us for worship on Easter. I know how hard it is to get out of bed and visit a church. BUT IT WILL BE WORTH IT. This is a great church. You will enjoy yourself. And this is true whether you are a committed Christian, an unsure Christian, a curious person investigating spiritual things or just want to know what it is Christians are up to. No matter your stage in the journey, you are welcome in our place.
