An interesting link about church website design

A friend tipped me off to this post about church website design. It from a secular site about website design in general. The poster lists what he calls the "top 10 church websites". The sites are good. What's amazing is the comments section. It's revealing on a lot of levels. It was cool how many people in the discussion chipped in to nominate their own church site. It was also cool to see people from Mars Hill (in particular) comment on being nominated and their design process. It was enlightening to see what people who are NOT Christians say about church sites. It was disheartening to see negative prejudice steming from a belief that churches are greedy and manipulative. Wasn't sure what to make of the LDS argument. I didn't think it was appropriate for the site.

In other news... it has been sad to watch about the VA Tech situation. You'd think being in BKK would keep you away from personal connections. But even here in BKK we have someone who's a VA Tech grad in the congregation. How sad! :(
