A Couple of Friday Thoughts
(1) What if the church was as passionate about Jesus as McDonald's is about selling hamburgers? For one we would put our message in cultural forms that are understandable.
The other thing we would do is we'd spend money to reach children like McDonalds does. Their play areas are generally first class.
(2) How's the coke fast going? I slipped a little bit this week. Not terrible, but I probably averaged 12 oz of coke per day. I did some emotional drinking this week. Kind of scary how that works. Better next week. The good thing was I didn't binge over the weekend! :)
