I was in prison and you visited me

Jesus placed a high value on caring for those who are most vulnerable... including prisoners. Check out Matthew 25.

With that in mind, we are glad to announce that representatives from the Christian Prison Ministry in Thailand will be at International Church of Bangkok Sunday. We've got a long standing relationship with this great ministry and are excited about continuing it.

The Christian Prison Ministry in Thailand started in 1971 with one Bible Study in one prison. It now serves hundreds of inmates all over the country and has unusually access due to remarkable success at rehabilitating prisoners and an exceptionally low re-incarceration rate.

One of the innovative aspects of the Christian Prison Ministry Thailand is the prisoner's choir. Various concerts have been held with over 300 voice choirs of prisoners singing about the love of Jesus to predominately Buddhist audiences.

They even had Royal Family patronage at one point. I don't know if that's ongoing or not.

So we'd love to have you join us and hear more about the ministry. Sunday at 10am at Bangkok Christian College and 6:30pm at Bangkok Christian Guest House. There is a Q&A session scheduled for after the morning worship.
