After the wisemen left

I've been doing some thinking about what happened to Mary and Joseph and little Jesus after the wisemen left. What happened when the star was no longer in the sky? The shepherds had gone home? Matthew has the royal family fleeing to Egypt. But Luke includes a detail that I think is significant which occurred before they fled. They went to the temple.

It never occurred to me that THIS might have happened. But it's funny to think about...
